Sit at the bar while the captain beats many speed boats to the party sandbar. Crank up the grill and take some cold drinks out of the fridge. Sit back in the recliner while tossing a line overboard. Tow a skier or two This boat is sure to be a center of attention wherever it goes.

the thing about a pontoon, it does everything decently and nothing well. but yeah, depends where you boat and what you like to do when you boat.

Jack of all trades, master of none, but ofttimes better than master of one.

i think we need to get you out on one of the more well built tri-toons. it will do everything a comparably priced fiberglass runabout does, and more, and have more room, and be more efficient, be faster, quicker, and blah blah blah

i'd take a $35-60,000 brand new pontoon boat ALL FUCKING DAY over what $35-60,000 will get you in a brand new fiberglass anything really.

and the tritoon will ride FAR better than that comparable i/o fiberglass whatever.

I'm seeing used 2012 Entertainers offered for $59K.

If I ever get to the point where I can throw money like that around, I think a tri toon like the Entertainer would offer more usefulness than a lot of other boats. Going out on friends' boats, the lack of room and amenities are usually the big downsides. Don't even get me started with sailboats. Talk about lack of room to do anything...

On a pontoon/tri toon, you have almost as many amenities as if you are docked. Did you guys see the changing room with the pump out head? Women would kill for that.

this entertainer's layout actually kind of sucks imo... not much room for people to actually sit if you are ripping. you don't want to be on a barstool at 50 mph in the wind i'd bet.

you're buying a 160k 600 hp pontoon boat.

you don't give a fuck about getting 1 mpg as opposed to 2.7.

not to mention.

even at 25mph. sitting on one of those barstools isn't fun at all.

Plenty of seating on the couches, captain and admiral's chairs.

I think most of the bar use will be for scenes like these. You pull up at a scenic location and break out the booze and brats.
