I'll kick this thread off... We have a similar thread for cars and whatnot... Here's the BRAAAP version!

Post up whatever you've done to make your BRAAAP machines happy with you. Repairs, mods, appearance, functionality, washing them... Anything. Pics preferred!

So to start, I've had two Raptor 660R quads in various state of needing repair most of this season. Finally got around to ordering some parts, so my son and I took to the garage last night to work on the "easy" repair job.

This particular quad stripped the hub AND the axle splines on the left side, requiring both to be replaced. :picard: my son and his buddy got pretty good at riding earlier this season and we doing LOTS of donuts, figure 8s and drag racing in the fields before crops were planted. I guess that killed it. :dunno:

Anyway, I went on CL and found the parts I needed from this place:

So replacement HD axle and hubs needed to go in. Used this video to figure out the process:

That reminds me... the yard needs to be cut so bad. We have been trying to seal the deck and have been avoiding cutting the grass to keep the trimmings off the wood.

Every time we allow the # of required "dry days" to go by, it rains/drizzles again. :picard: Meanwhile the grass is super long.

No, the trailer has no track system in it. I just bought the simple ones with the single screw in style deal thru the bar. Nothing fancy. Cheap too.

I liked them because nothing would be mounted to the floor of the trailer... just a few holes drilled and everything mounts from the bottom of the trailer.

First rip, Scorpion started up like a champ. Figured out why it's so god damn loud. Might have to pull the primary clutch as the outside sheave is extremely lose and rattling around.

Haven't done much with the other sleds except move them around because I changed the oil in the BRAAAPTOR and dropped a Torx bit under the Ski Doos, plural.

Got the winter, stock, tires back on the Scrambler. Only going to stud them if the river freezes because no point in doing it now if it never freezes. Add to the fact they're really stupid light wheels so I might leave them on and sell my other setup since they're so fucking heavy.
