Shift lights

I'm looking for a good Shift light only. Not the Tach.

Q...Anyone just use the light?
Q...Anyone recommed a good light and place to get it?
Q...Will I need to buy a Tach adapter still?

Its for my 99 cobra.

I seen these but dont really know much about shift lights..

I love my raptor as well... pretty discrete, non ricerish, and does a great job! Never even watch the tach!

JW because the picture on their site shows one built in the gauges, which is pretty sweet.

These things are badass!!!!! I bought one when i saw this thread and just put it in. And fyi, set it to 1 cylinder, not 8.

Hey where did you end up mounting it and do they offer certain mount kits? I was thinking the underside of my dash in the cluster section right in the middle.

They have 2 mounting brackets. It doesnt really matter which one you use. It's easy as hell to install. There is a fully detailed install at http://www.mustanghowto.com/interior/Raptor/Shift Light.htm The wierd thing was it didnt come with the splice connectors to tap into the power source and coil pack wire but that's no big deal. It's pretty damn bright too, tonight my friend was following me home and said u could kinda c the interior light up blue right b4 i shifted.
