sparkplugs!?!??

i need sparkplugs 2 heat ranges colder than stock.

kurgan recomended NGK but i cant seem to figure out which ones are the correct ones to buy.

any help on finding the right plug would be greatly apreciated :biggthump

I think lots of people run the TR6 plugs. I do and have no complaints. Dr. Kurgan tuned my shit and my plugs still miss him.....lol

yeah, haha, he wasnt sure what plug it was as far as part # but he knows i need 2 heat ranges colder than stock.

I am pretty sure it is the TR6's also. Back when I had a 5.0 I remember wanting to go with 2 heat range colder than the stocker 32p's and ended up buying the NGK TR6's. That was 6 years ago so it is questionable whether or not I remember everything correctly.

I do not know if the TR6 will or will not work but here is another number from NGK that should work with no problem R5674-9. If you need help finding them let me know and i can get them for you. I think they are 2.19 each. Let me know and if you have any questions please feel free to let me know.

You bring up a good point. I totally forgot that he has the Cobra. For some reason I got it stuck in my head that he had the GT. Oops, disregard anything I said in here.

yeah, this is a cobra, so i have GT40 heads. i had a feeling some of you were forgetting about the gt40 heads.

so now that i am still thouroughly confussed, what plug do i use

According to the NGK link below you want a 6 or a 7 on the last number were the 5 is but I don't think they make anything cooler for that head

The race plug would be close to your reach is R5724-8 or R5724-9

Autolight lists a 764 and dosent make a 763 a 764 is already one step cooler the my stock gt alot of guys run a 4 heat range with a S/C

The R5724-9 or R5724-8 would be close your OEM reach is .807 and this one is .708 and autolite list the OEM reach as.708

why not BP7EFS (PN - 3526) BR7EF (PN - 3346) two steps, that one is exactly 2 steps?

That would work 2 But everyone was saying to use the race plugs.

I use autolite 3923 so WTF do I know about NGK
