they are very smart and when i had my v6 helped me out alot.... and let me tell you the guys with the turbo kits make some serious power!

if he goes on there tell him to inquire about the TMA turbo kits....if i remember correctly they are about the same price as a vortech kit and makes much more power..

but a list off the top of my head

1) cat-back (i had a MAC and it sounded mean as hell)
2) some sort of mid pipe
3) 8.8 rear end out of a gt or cobra (direct swap very easy to do...the 7.5 that comes in the car is crap)
4) shift kit if its auto
5) under drive pulleys (after i did mine i couldnt believe how much of a difference it made on the 3.8)
6) possibly a spilt port swap....i like single port better
7) check out the TMA turbo kits
8) rear gear

and much more....

my buddy has a sprayed six, it moves out, 300 at the wheels but its going to blow up soon anyways.

do all the basic bolt ons: headers, cat back, intake, pullies, nitrous, and i am pretty sure they make a vortech system for most v6's.

you could save up and get a v8 but work with what you've got!! u dont see many modded v6's.

If I was in those shoes I'd hold out for a vortech off of e-bay. I've seen the v6 systems going for like $1,500.

also with the suggestions for a v8 swap tell you buddy if he is thinking about that...its is tons of work/money/parts to make it work hed be better off selling his car and buying a v8... definiately have him check out www.v6power.net for more info on his car...
