You cant really lose with any of them, they are both nice as hell. I looked up some specs on edmunds.com (07 models) looks like the 300C retails for about 30K at the dealer and the CTS V about 37K used. no additional options selected. The 300C has a little more power but the CTS is lighter. Id say the 300C is the better cruiser and the CTS V would be the better "race car", as it has a LSx motor. A few people on the 300C forums have pulled mid 12's stock and many high 12's. Not really sure what enthusiasts can do with the CTS V. As for gas milage your screwed either way, but a 6-Speed LSx can get pretty decent gas milage. That also brings up another point that the 300C is only available in auto. Its up to you, drive both, read up on the forums about common problems. Look up maintance costs, costs to repair out of warranty etc.
