I honestly have no idea. I'm a big front brake user and have yet to ever ride one so I couldn't tell you. The only thing I can think of is that the weight is more at the center to the back of the bike along with the persons weight so I assume it wouldn't be horrible but definitly wouldn't trust it to stop on a dime though.

yeah me either, i would be scared to have to depend on only rear brakes.

i once had to ride a bike home with only the front brake.. talk about scared it really wasnt that hard to do as long as you recognize you only have one brake and use it and downshifting accordingly. Oh, and PS i cant see a single pic in this threaad websense.

yeah the 48s and nighsters are what is driving the sporty culture right now.. customization options for sportsters are effing endless now that the 48 and others have really taken off.
