Ehhh it kind of looks like the designer of the model S just put it into paint and then dragged the image around while drunk... ( i am not really a fan)

That being said the top of the line models do look okay...

No one buys a Tesla X simply based on how it looks. People buy it because it's electric, the tech inside and/or the neck snapping torque that comes with a Tesla. There's probably a group just for people to buy what's "in" right now as well.

I wouldn't say ugly, but it's proportions don't do it for me. The greenhouse looks disproportionate to the overall length of the SUV. It makes for great visibility from the inside, and a big, open feeling, but I'm not a fan of how it looks.

all tesla styling seems kind of like generic sporty-ish car. like a videogame that didn't pay for licensing to use any real cars or car names

Its a meh for me. It is quite generic looking, not necessarily a good or a bad thing. It could look better, but that's not really why people buy these cars. There are far worse looking new SUVs on the road than the model X imo.

I see a ton of them around the St. Charles/Geneva area. In particular in that white color and I think they're pretty damn sharp.

However, as with every Tesla, I think it's the grill-less front end that is the worst of the design. Form the side or rear profile, they look great. This applies to the Model S too.
