Owning a Termi just comes with the coolness. It is like a Lamborghini...you go places and people want to talk to you and assume you're rich.

The Terminator Cobra started the hypercar segment in many people's opinion!

The classics and the cobra R for me arenít really comparable since they are big $$ and how likely are any of us to actually own them?

The GT500ís are cool no doubt but in my experience they feel like a much bigger and heavier car, they donít have that raw feeling you get with a big HP new edge

Fox bodies I can get behind for sure.

And the rest are really just run of the mill dime a dozen depreciating mustangs

some are, some aren't. i saw a few cobra R's that sold for ~$30k. aside from the big motor cars (429 stuff) they are actually pretty attainable. and at least you know they won't depreciate.

what's that have to do with anything?

there are classics on this board. just because it's not overrun with turdinators doesn't mean that they aren't here.

not to mention, the reason I made my list, was ten mustangs I'd take before a 03/04... not which would be a better buy.

i honestly don't know how a 2014 gt500 wouldn't have a "raw power" feeling. they are pretty violent and awesome.

"Raw power" just means the car feels crazy due to the 1970's chassis it was designed around.

To me the 03/04 Cobras are what the GNs were in the 80s and Supras were in the 90s. What's the equivalent now? I don't know, perhaps a hellkitty or something. There's so many good choices you really don't go "holy fuck that car is amazing" like with those 3 which could be considered ahead of their times in ability to take bolt ons and make great power for the time. You kind of just figure out which marque you want and go from there.

More refined chassis? More power? A dash that you don't punch every 3rd gear shift?

Nah bro, that Eaton heatsink and head cooling issues are totally worth it.

For 20-38k mach 1 or boss302 i guarantee the body has lots and lots of BONDO waves in the paint and a crappy 10 footer paint job. Probably has a tired ass drivetrain.
