Ive been trying to do some research on HID vs LED headlights. Of course HIDs will be brighter, but the LEDs will be more plug and play along with being brighter than halogens, along with being a bit cheaper than a canbus HID kit.
However, I keep reading that LEDs are not optimal for projectors since they technically are not a bulb lighting in a 360 degree area like a halogen or a HID bulb. This then scatters the light and does not create any hotspots and actually can hurt night time visibility over halogens or HIDs.
I was curious if anyone else had done LEDs in projectors to confirm, or if there are newer lights on the market that combat this issue.
