Hmm last one sold in the US market, I'm assuming that's why it went for so much? So it's probably not going to be driven either?

I love those cars but I would want to drive it. I had a buddy in college with one, he traded it in on an Xterra when those came out, not sure why...

All the collector car shows say how Japanese cars are the next big market

Already is a large market. If I had the space I would find and stash a clean 300zx and 240sx that is stock.

70's Kenmeri Skylines have doubled in price, NSX's have only gone up in the past 10 years. Supras obviously have also. Clean 3rd gen Rx-7s and Integra Type-R's. Old tin like 240z, 280z, 510, Fairlady roadsters are all going up quite steadily.

300zx will be the last to rise and also the slowest as they sold more of them then just about all of the other car of it's generation.
