Well, I finally headed to the track for the first time with this car. I wanted to get a base line before the F1-A and other goodies go on. I made my first pass, terrible wheel hop, 1.8 60Ft. Decided to add some tire psi is hopes to get ride of wheel hop. I haven't done anything to the IRS, and well it grenaded on my second pass. Now do I stay IRS with some DSS half shafts, new carrier and FTBR kit (which I have in my garage just haven't installed) or so I go 8.8 SRA??

You can. Definitely. If you're looking to keep the car more lively on the street, get that full tilt kit on for sure. I don't know if you'll need the dss axles. I know some guys just keep spare axles around and become really good at changing them out in a pinch.

Well the parts I have in Garage collecting dust is FTBR complete bushing kit with Housing cover, MM IRS brace. I already have MM Coil Overs, and now I'm ordering DSS Level 5 half shafts. I haven't gotten car in the air yet but I'm hoping I didn't crack housing. Car still rolls, so Ring and pinion I'm assuming is stillnok still good.

Tires have a lot to do with it too, I always hate making passes on my street wheels because the lack of sidewall seems to bring on more wheel hop if not launched just right. If you plan on doing a lot of racing a bias ply tire will be much more forgiving on a stick IRS car.

I haven't gotten underneath car yet, I will tmrw but I have to assume I broke a half shaft. Immediately after slipping the clutch heard a pop and car went no where, it didn't happen during any sort of wheel hop. I can see grease flung around like the half shaft boot tore up. Maybe the case cracked, or diff cover cracked, but had no gear lube spilling out.
