Who has the best 93 Octane?

Where do you guys fill up for 93? I've been going to a small mom and pop Mobil. My car is pulling timing with it. Looks like I need to go to a "big" station.

Have you guys had better luck with one vs. another?

I usually fill up at Costco as it's cheap, they churn through a ton of gas, and it's top tier.

Costco has top tier gasoline. Membership required, though.

I had knock in my full bolt-on 5.0 and was using Shell. Switched to Costco, most of it went away. Never looked back on another gas station.

I guess certain companies add their different detergents after they are loaded off the "same tank"

I think I just need to find a really busy gas station where the 93 is probably more "fresh"

I use bp 93 and torco, vmp out of Florida had the best deal on a 5gallon can of it like 250-275 shipped 32oz makes a tank of 93 97-99 octane depending on the size of your tank

I use Shell 93 religiously and never once had a fuel related issue.

Yea, I'm not too worried, but prefer no ST knock. If I do go to the track, I'll throw in a 1/2 tank of 100 regardless to prevent the issue.

Is there any sort of flex fuel capability with that car? I hear guys have tuned them on e85 but don't see it often.

Not a big fan of Shell at all .The only 2 times my car run like shit was when I got 93 at local Shell stations . Never had this issue with any other stations .

E85 is doable. I daily the car and don't want to test fuel. Tuners put a fair amount of timing in those setups. Some last, some don't. I prefer low timing on 93

Always used to run BP. Remember way back in the day guys always had better luck with the 93 from Bp. Not many bp stations down here though, so I get whatever now.

I most frequently use Costco Premium. It's always been cheaper than premium anywhere else in the area. My AccessPort tells me that the car isn't pulling any timing with their fuel. I've done other stations, of course, when Costco isn't convenient and haven't had any issues so far.

No need to test E85 if you have a flex fuel tune

Yea, I can get a setup to have it tuned to run different "blends" of E85, but that still seems too much to me. Good pump gas is fine by me.
