On the DSM it tends to get too sound, shockingly, inside the car. Mainly the exhaust makes it hard to have a conversation. And I feel that my open trunk to the car kind of makes an echo of sound and vibration. So bought some sound/vibration insulating panels, covers 18 sq ft. I hope it will make some kind of difference thats noticeable. Other wise just a waste of money, but at least its shiney? Now to reroute some wiring, put the windshield wash tank in, and panels back on.

dynamatted a whole trunk trunk lid doors and headliner when i was in hs for a big car audio system i had in a cadillac eldorado. made a huge difference.

id cover as much of the big flat panels that vibrate as much as possible amd you dont need to cover every nook and cranny. The big flat panels are what makes it echo and vibrate.

should make a noticable difference i doubt itll be a waste.

I is moar excite now. Something that made installing so much nicer is slicing lines into the panels so it forms better on the curves. They said to wear gloves....I didnt wear gloves, but was an easy clean up. I have 2 more extra panels. May use them on the floor somewhere. Def a 2 to 3 hours job. Bending over back and forth isnt fun, would not do on a hot day.
