Does ford have any plans for a real motor? IE twin turbo voodoo motor?

It makes 450 hp & 500 ft/lbs. That is like 45 more hp and 75 ft/lbs over the previous model. That is substantial. Couple that with the 10 speed and I think it will be very capable. Isn't this one lighter as well?

I somehow feel Ford isn't looking to make a 800hp Raptor from the factory.

Yup, it's really good. As fast as a dedicated sport truck like the Lightning or SRT10. And the 10-speed is fantastic rock crawling and on the street. I'm writing our review now and just wondered what interested TCG about the truck.

Our tester was 5,800 pounds, but had optional equipment like the box ramps.

Do those ramps just sit in the bed?

They're the same ramps as the pedestrian F-150. They fold up to the side and sit above the wheel tubs.

I really wish that Ford would bring back the Lightning.

Does the 10 speed hunt for gears? I thought I read that in C&D's review.
