As much as i still love the sport, I can kind of insulate myself from the noise these V6T engines make, but when you hear them directly compared to anything that came before it, it just brings a tear to my eye. And when you hear that V12 coming, it sounds like 3 cars are racing each other, and then it comes around the bend and its just 1 car. God.

I agree. I went to every F1 Grad Prix held at Indy and the V10 cars something that just has to be heard in person. Comparing it to the V8 cars its like a Big Block vs a Small Block.

As far as how fast they are its hard to compare sometimes because of modifications made to the tracks. However, if you look at the lap records of many of the major tracks(Spa, Silverstone, Monza, Monaco) they are held by 2002-2004 V10 cars.

I've always thought the V10's were the best sound out of all of them. The noise they make do things to me. Tingly things.
