No, I think it has more to do with a cool car for a 16 year old that will soon be a middle aged adult with a lot of money and he wants the car that was bad ass when he was 16.

For instance, you could probably have picked up this car in the 40s, maybe even the 30s about 10 years ago, now they are all over 100k.

Imagine how cool it would be to own an F355 for 5 to 10 years, enjoy it, then sell it and make 50k.

That sounds like a car enthusiast dream really. It is too bad it takes a decent chunk of change to get invested into the market. The sound of that engine kind of makes the risk worth it.
