It was nice. Had a bored 305 with edelbrock performer cam intake and carb. Was pretty quick. Trans had a b&m shift kit that slammed second gear it would chip the tires even at putting pace.

There's a guy in crystal lake that has probably the nicest red iroc around . I usually see it on rt14 during the week parked in front of a little strip mall close to the street .

That does kind of look like my old car. Minus the racing stripe and wheels. I had 14's and sold it with mismatched wheels. Put a 350 out of a 94 caprice in it and never got it running right. Had bad lifters.

Love me some 1987 Iroc Z

Had a friend who bought a new '87 Iroc Z and challenged me to a race in my father's BMW 325.

We turned onto the street to race and he cheated and just took off with me still behind him. I managed to come around, pass and get a solid car length on him before we hit 80. The little Bimmer had to work for it, but a win is a win.
