Hah, hah, that's awesome! Reminds me of a similar race I had a few years ago:

I used to tow my Jetski with my 2004 GTO. Back in 2006, it was a Saturday evening and the sun had been set for about an hour. I had been riding my Kawasaki Ultra 150 on the water most of the day with my other watercraft friends at the Chain of Lakes. I pulled up at a stoplight next to an RSX Type S on Rt 12. He threw a few revs at me at the light, so I figured I'd indulge the guy with a quick run. By the time I got up to about 75mph I had a few carlengths on the guy and backed down to the speed limit. He kept back as we both slowed. At the next stoplight he rolled up and opened his window to ramble, "I had no idea you had a trailer, oh man...". I told him, "I only won because there isn't any gas left in the Jetski after riding all day." I don't think that made him feel any better, though...

Hahaha that was great. God I've always loved the E55 and wanted one, but I'll never own one due to how horrible their reliability is. 2005's and 2006's are actually very reasonably priced... and then you have to pay 6K for the air suspension or 3K for the brakes. Electronic nightmare.

My uncle Chris used to pull a honda odyssey (offroad dune buddy thing) with his WS6 back in 02-03. Hes whooped up on his fair share of cars pulling that thing.
