OK so it made 997whp :)

Luis wanted to see how much we could make so we did!!

Specs:
Stock Block!! (pin pulled)
GSC S2 Cams
Precision GT42-7675R CEA DBB 1.12 A/R
PHR 4" Titanium Exhaust
PHR Twin Wastegate Manifold
Twin TiAL MVR Wastegates
Twin TiAL Q BOVs (mounted on cold-side before TB)
PHR 5" Intercooler
SP Custom Intercooler Piping (3"-4" hot-side, 4" cold-side) w/ VanJan clamps
Hypertune Intake Manifold
Hypertune Throttle Body???
ID2000 Injectors
10AN Catch Can
SP Coolant Reservoir
ProEFI Pro128 Standalone EMS
ProEFI Flex Fuel
RPS Triple C/C

Results:
573whp 442wtq @ 16psi (94oct)
601whp 468wtq @ 16psi (62% ethanol)
759whp 571wtq @ 23psi (62% ethanol)
817whp 677wtq @ 26psi (74% ethanol)
871whp 692wtq @ 29psi (74% ethanol)
929whp 737wtq @ 32psi (74% ethanol)
938whp 716wtq @ 33psi (74% ethanol)
993whp 757wtq @ 35psi (74% ethanol)
995whp 820wtq @ 36psi (74% ethanol)
997whp 806wtq @ 38psi peak, dropping to 33psi (74% ethanol)

You'll notice the torque levels don't always match up as power increases. Larry was adjusting how the boost ramped in in addition to increasing boost. We also show varying ethanol contents. Luis brought us the car with a full tank of 94oct to tune on since that's what he'll be running most of the time in Canada. We drained the tank and put in 10 gallons of ethanol but only managed to get 62% ethanol. After making more pulls and threw in more ethanol bringing the content up to 74%.

This is so awesome

Is close to 600whp on pump gas safe on these motors? Ive been researching all winter and all the folks on supraforums paints the picture of the rapture when you get that high up (granted these are older posts).

It's most certainly a strong motor! We've made a lot of HP throughout the years before building the bottom end on many, myself included.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but SP made around 1500 rwhp in Marko's supra on a stock block at 59 psi

That was a stock block but definitely not stock internals. The dyno was also screwed up that week and was reading excessively high.

Hey Rein, Who is your tuner over there?

Great numbers BTW!

Larry is our resident tuner and we have a new guy Tim who does our HP Tuners for LS-based applications.

OH! I didn't realize this was a stock bottom end! That's crazy
