Too many miles for the preludes, the h motors aren't enticing over 120-130k. It would be much more beneficial to find one with a bad motor and swap in a $900 h23. Mine was from Florida (no rust of course) and it had a 40,000 mile mint h23 in it that didn't burn oil. Most b series motors are happy for 200,000-250,000 miles, but h motors at 150,000 miles are getting tired. The cylinder wall lining eats up the piston rings and they start burning oil. It's really hard to find a decent Honda these days.

Yea those D-series motors will burn quite a bit of oil past 150,000 miles, BUT they will run forever. Just have to keep an eye on the oil, like any Honda. They use this FRM (fiber reinforced metal) shit and it eats up the piston rings, thus causing oil burn. Honda owners are very much ok with this. My Hondas don't burn oil with normal use but at the track it's a different story. My buddies old ITR went though 1/2qt of oil per 20-30min session. It's the nature of the beast.
