I was reading about this in the newest FF&MM today, just sick!

A 2013 GT500 with only the KB Mammoth Liquid Cooled 4.2L blower kit, 200 lbs. injectors, KB Boost-A-Pump, E85, and a Centerforce clutch to hold the power made 985 RWHP!

This is all on a stock block and internals. There were no other modifications to the heads/cams/exhaust and no nitrous was used.

Minimal mods would be keeping the stock blower in my opinion...not swapping to a much bigger power adder.

Its still crazy impressive...dont think anyone is denying that.

This is all coming from the guy that makes everything sound easy! :lmao:

I cannot say for sure because I have not done the build, but there is probably zero fabrication involved with this. You are not touching the fuel system in any way except for adding injectors and a BAP. The exhaust is completely stock from the catback to the manifolds. The heads or cams all remain stock. Oh and BTW you are making almost 1,000 rwhp.

Its just my opinion...swapping for a huge blower is not "minimal". Especially when that blower costs a minimum of 8,000 bucks.

But on the flip side of that coin, 8,000 for 1,000rwhp is nothing. Its cheap as shit

I just i'm just a massive jew.

The car gets up to 985hp from 662hp, that is a 48% gain. Many many cars could get that kind of a gain from a blower swap and fuel system upgrade. While the number is impressive, everything is relative.

P.S. 3800 blocks can run 225%+ of stock power level with stock heads and internals, just a turbo and fuel system upgrades. Once this runs 1490 hp I'll be impressed. Gotta keep it relative Bro.

Similar can be said of the S/C cobras
