ISF MUFFLER + CAT DELETE?

[BS ISF]

Hey guys was wanting a little more growl out of my little 5 liter and came across this. He just deleted the secondary cats and deleted the mufflers. He did leave the primary cats and resonators and welded in straight pipe.

Good idea? Probably not going to buy headers and exhaust until next year. Also anybody know of a good muffler shop in the west burbs?

Definitely sounds good from the inside. Has a beefier sound than I expected. Straight pipes can drone on the highway, though. Might be cool for a while but get old if you drive the car a lot at speed.

thanks mook and bru. he left the resonators in to help with the drone. i pm'd him to ask specifically about drone and he said almost none except at like 1700rpm's but not bad. now looking for a good shop in the west burbs.
