Probably to keep the costs of replacing them down when they inevitably fail due to the location they're at getting soaked with salt and road grime. You replace a cheap bulb instead of an entire module.

2019 Silverados from the photos show rounded wheel wells and LED tail lights like those on the Tahoe Burban.

Also look at the bolt pattern of the wheels. I have a f150 and Chevy in my driveway and those look like a 6x139.7

It's a ram. The shot that shows the dash gives it away. Also the way the hood drasically slopes down to achieve the big rig look. Chevy and Ford hoods are pretty flat. Probably a 2019 Megacab 1500.
