Lots of weird compromises were made in an effort to make it so you could drive it every day is the long and short of what I read. I don't get the vibe that it lived up to expectations for how long it took.

Several journalists don't understand why they designed it as 'loud' as they did, and then did stuff like put focus into making it quiet, etc.

Time will tell on how it sells I think.

"The overall impression is that of a company that hasn’t built a sports car in a while, cautiously feeling its way with a complicated new machine produced by a rushed development program. It has the essentials; what it needs can mostly be added with software. The on-sale date isn’t until spring, so there’s still time to make the NSX of our dreams."

Rushed development program? Thing took damn near as long as the LFA to come out, but at least the LFA didn't have constant dick tease releases.

They changed the design for like the 3rd time not terribly long ago to deal with making the power train be longitudinal. It started off as a front engine, V-10 keep in mind, this 'program' has been a mess.

The main problem is this car will be over 150k. All the hype over the years and 95 percent of the people who waited for it will never be able to purchase it. Big wrong move in my opinion. Why buy this when you could get a ford GT? Or even for 30k more a mcclaren that is twice the car

The previous NSX was amazing and it used simplicity to do it. A basic mid mounted N/A engine that delivered good acceleration for the time and speed. It looked great and could corner. Why make this a supercar now? The old NSX worked for you why cant you create something that is a V6 with twin turbos for power, give it both a manual and automatic option and slap a 60-70k price tag on it? Leave this hybrid supercar crap to those cars that cost a million right now. Stop trying to over think and make this car something it was never supposed to be just to appease people who will never buy it.
