it combines the better breathing symmetrical port SII heads that are direct descendants of the stage 2 buick heads developed for indy/Winston cup etc.
with the much better rotating assembly geometry and breathing of the tall deck SI with its much reduced angularity, but on top of that I wish to use the lower Moi SII crank and pistons/dimensions with rebushed Chrysler 440 rods to end up with a nearly 2to1 rod/stroke ratio that facilitates better high rpm breathing and the reduction in friction....since its not trying to shove the piston through the thrust wall of the bore.

beyond that its just oiling mods and the fab'd intake

id actually wanted to do an NA and a turbo setup.

turbocharged would be a given. the decrease in piston accel/deccel rates means its more gentle on the bearing loads/rings at the flutter point of the intake stroke. as well as better cylinder filling at med/high rpm.

ever wonder why the SII doesn't gain much over 5500rpm? the rotating assembly geometry is such that cylinder filling is best at low/mid rpm, where they want the tq to move heavy sedans....its why they didn't bat an eye at the deck height reduction and the production line benefits afforded by less weight and tighter packaging as well.

if you ever get the chance to drive an L27 equipped SI car and an L36 car...youll see the difference in the rpm change up top, plain and simple the SII runs out of steam before the L27 winds out. youll also like the exhaust note more, even at idle its less of a sharp staccato/3800 blatt

if I ever finish the waGN...id probably toss my SI L67 into it with the 95 SI heads (with the nearly SII-esque rockers/valvetrain) into it for some fun.

as it is with the lN3 it'll likely love to be wound out till I lose a ring land, though with the earlier open chambers it might not have a pressure wave focal point like the SII combustion chambers, either way high heat and thermal cycling near the intake cvalve would be the likely failure. the SI rods are more substantial than the SII stuff.

the cylinder heads could flow better/more evenly but shit don't matter when the magic snail does its shit

I gotta get back to working on this stock jank l67 turbo regal with its 7th trans....I wanna drive it to work tomorrow

LOL to all the guests join the forum with all the 3800 madness that doesn't rely on outrageous "balanced" mega buck engines and $4000 dollar heads with no flow numbers......

Just saying. People around here have been in the 3800 world for a hell of a long time.

Its simple. Stock engine turbo feed it some E85 and watch it assplode all the transmissions you can find until your little heart is content

And that group has like 175 members...wonder how many guest would show up if that link was posted in the 2,500 member group. Probably would get deleted though, that's supposed to be for sale ads.

DELETED because it would take away from business, what if the truth got out that you don't need $3000 dollar engines and $4000 dollar heads......
